3 DAS members went and spent the morning bearing witness at a cow slaughter house in Hatherleigh. It was a rather frosty morning, and the drivers were not helping much, with a fare few forcing their way through. We also visited a nearby cattle market, where we saw month old calf’s being sold, coming in cold and scared, and leaving their moms behind forever.
This is the reality of the meat and dairy industry; cows who bodies can no longer produce enough milk due to exhaustion being bought to slaughter, and mothers being separated from their babies all for profit and our taste-buds.
Can you justify this?
