How To Go Vegan
“A philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.”
Why should I go vegan?
Because in this day and age, what is the moral justification for exploiting and taking an animals life for food when we have alternatives? What we are doing to animals is totally unnecessary.
We can live happy and healthy without animal products so why are we continuing to consume them and cause suffering?
Animal agriculture is also one of the worlds biggest environmental issues with more green house gases coming from the animals than all the worlds transport combined. It’s also the leading cause of deforestation, ocean dead zones, species extinction and more.
Animal products have also been linked to most of our major killers including heart disease, diabetes, cancers etc.
The question should really be…why shouldn’t I go vegan? That would be harder to answer.
